TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sound:

1. One Vocal microphone on a stand (for Pireeni’s voice)

2. One instrumental (non-vocal) mic on a boom microphone stand (for violin)

3. At least one stage-monitor

Lighting:

Spotlight to include two of us, downstage, preferably with a warm filter.

Stage:

We’ve performed in a wide range of venues (including theaters, amphitheaters and libraries) and the feedback from our audiences suggests that they’ve most enjoyed our performances when the acoustic space around us is clearly demarcated. The nature of the violin and Pireeni’s voice means that we’re best heard in an enclosed space and on stage.

We do not need/want a lectern/stand of any kind - we perform our work from memory and find that such stands place an unnecessary barrier between us and the audience.
